  • 12-16 Bibb or butter lettuce leaves, washed and dried
  • 1 pound chicken filets (or breast)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soya sauce
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced
  • 10 cherry tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chives, chopped


  1. Slice the chicken into small cubes.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil.
  3. Add chicken garlic and onions and fry for about 2-3 minutes, constantly stirring.
  4. Once the meat is well done add soy sauce, ginger and mix well. Turn off the heat and set aside.
  5. Pack lettuce with the filling, spoon over chopped tomatoes and sprinkle some fresh chives on top.
  6. Enjoy!
